Can Intake Of Postinor 2 Post Sex During Ovulation Prevent Pregnancy?

Hi. I had unprotected sex on my fertile window. I was ovulating the next day (Im not too sure because I'm using a period tracking app to track my ovulation) I took postinor2. I'm afraid I'm pregnant because I'm ovulating/ near ovulation. Will the pill still work if you're ovulation? And will the pill stop the implantation from happening or does it only prevent fertilisation?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As a physician, I would like to tell you that you absolutely do not have to worry as you have taken Postinor 2 within 12 to 24 hours after having unprotected sex. Irrespective of the ovulation, the pill will take care of the pregnancy and the implantation will not occur.

I would also suggest you to keep an eye on your periods and if you miss them, take a home UPT within a week to be sure.
