General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

As you have taken postinor 2 after 24 hrs (within 72 hours) of unprotected sex, the chances of preventing pregnancy is only 50%. I advise you to do serum beta HCG test which is more reliable than HPT, if you didn't get your periods after 3 weeks of taking the pill.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Yogapriya Vasudevan, General & Family Physician
