General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
Understand your concern
Yes primolut N used for induce the period but postpone the period is more effective and successful.
After stopping the drug the bleeding will continue after 5-7 days.
It is prescribed drug and should be taken under the advice of gynecologist with proper schedule. Improper schedule lead to disturbance in period.
As you already took the tablet, bleeding will come maximum in 7 days after stopping the drug. Now you can not take the pill again as it cause menstrual irregularity.
It should be continue maximum up to 14 days.(till you do not want the period). Now you have no option to stop the bleeding.
Hope this may help you
Best regards
Dr. Sagar
