Can Intake Of Primolut Cause Irregular And Light Periods?

I took primolout for a week to stop my due period as I was on holidays. It s bin two weeks since iv stoped taking the tablets & haven t had a normal period. I had a very light on off bleed 2-3 days after I stoped taking them. Could that have being my period?

This tablet contains norethisterone. A normal period should occur 2-3 days after the patient has stopped taking tablets.
It same time causes irregular bleeding, changes in bleeding pattern including irregular bleeding, scanty bleeding and the absence of bleeding may occur.
