Can Intake Of Cenestin 1.25mg Intead Of Enjuvia 1.25mg Cause Any Problems?
My pharmacist gave me the wrong medicine. I am on enjuvia 1.25mg and he gave me cenestin 1.25mg . i thought the color of the pill had maybe changed but after a couple of days taking the medicine i decided to look it up and realized it was the wrong medicine, I was wondering if it could have any bad effects on me
Enjuvia and cenestin are both conjugated synthetic estrogens. They are used to replace natural estrogen.
The key difference between the 2 is that cenestin contains 9 synthetic (man made) conjugated estrogens and enjuvia contains an additional estrogen. There is also a difference in terms of release into the body-enjuvia is released slowly.
There should not be any significant effects for you.
I hope this helps
