Is Cenestin A Good Alternative Of Enjuvia?

I m trying to find a HRT to replace Enjuvia which I understand has been discontinued. I used to take Cenestin and was told that it is currently available. Do you know if Cenestin is available or can you recommend a similar replacement? I won t take Premarin.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Enjuvia is synthetic conjugated Estrogens B, which is a form of Estrogen, and is used to treat symptoms of menopause. Cenestin is conjugated synthetic estrogens A, which is used to treat moderate to severe hot flashes and other symptoms of menopause or low amounts of estrogen. Hence, Cenestin can be used in the place of Enjuvia.

Kindly consult your doctor for proper dosage and mode of administration of the medication.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran S,
