Can Iodex Cause Eye Sight Damage? On Eye Drops Optihist And Gatilox DM.Please Advise
Mistakenly, I rubbed my eyes with fingers having iodex. It caused irritation, burning in the eyes, then I consulted a general physician and he prescribed me two eye drops-OPTIHIST & GATILOX DM. Now after 2 days I am feeling that my eyesight has started dropping down and I am seeing the images as blurred. Now, I am very much worried. Please guide me as today is sunday and most of the clinics are closed today.

Iodex is not known to cause any eye problem except for minor irritation and this will not require any treatment other than optihist eye drops which you have used.
Gatilox Dan eye drops contains steroid eye drops and this is not required for your condition.
Hence if you are having dimunition of vision this quires examination by a ophthalmologist and treatment accordingly.
