I have a script from my eye doctor for Lastacaft eye drops. my eyelids turned a bright red like I had burned them under my eyes has swelled almost shut. This lasted for a month and I finally got rid of it not knowing it was the eye drops. I used the drop again yesterday and now I am having problems again. I now realize it is the eye drops. It took me almost 2 mo to clear it up the first time and the doc didn`t know what was wrong. What do I do to clear this up quickly? my eyes have become very sensitive to sunlight
Hello It seems from the history that you are having redness of eyes and you are on treatment with lastacaft eye drops. Lastacaft eye drops is used for treatment of the allergic diseases of the eye like allergic conjunctivitis. It will not cause redness of eyes. Since you have mentioned that your eyes have become sensitive to light, this indicates involvement of cornea in the form of allergic keratoconjunctivitis. Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and modification in treatment.
Thank you
