Can Lax Cardia Be Treated?
Dear Doctor Recently i undergone Endoscopy the report indicated Lax Cardia when asked doctor they said there is no cure for it and you should take medicines for life time is it so Doctor ? I am scared if no medicine to cure the same Regards Suresh A K

Lax cardia means the upper part of the stomach is lax and thereby cause acid reflux.
Most cases can be managed conservatively.
You can take antacids like Omeprazole or Pantoprazole for symptomatic relief.
Surgery is not required usually.
