Can Learning MMA Style Grappling Lead To Skin Infections?
Hello, My name is Henry I currently live in Arizona and I am working at the County Hospital at the moment in Phoenix. I am interested in learning mma style grappling, but I heard that you are more prone to catching skin infections like mrsa and herpes. My questions is if I were to catch any of these skin infections as I get older wouldn t they be harder to control especially if I were to get diabetes and other problems with my body due to old age? I just do not want to add any more problems to my body as I get older. Thank you

The grappling with MMA style involve holding and using your strength to control your opponent as in Muay Thai or Boxing. There are no proven evidences that you are prone to catch infections
as MRSA and herpes through this. As there is already a series of medical evaluation of the opponents before getting into the race.
