Can Leg Exercises Be Done While Suffering From Osteoarthritis?
hi, I have osteoarthritis and my question to you I work out with a personal trainer every Sunday and we are doing leg curls to strengthen my legs, I was doing leg bench press, are they still ok to do or shoul I not do those , because they are like squatting but I am laying down and just pushing my knees up with the press and we have no extra weight on the machine
Yes, the method you are doing the leg exercises are very appropriate, and you should continue them even though you have osteoarthritis. In fact, strengthening of the leg muscles can reduce you discomfort of osteoarthritis.
