Hello Doctor!! I am 54 years old male, my weight is around 88 kg and height is 155 inch, since a month, i have started to drink warm lemon water in the morning a first thing and i am feeling good whole day.. But somebody told me that after the age of 50-55, you should not consume lemon anymore as it will cause to weaken my bones and bones will become fragile.. is this true?? what should i do?? -mahesh doshi
Hello Your friend is very mistaken since not only does lemon and other citrus fruits give you vitamin C, it does not cause osteoporosis or osteopenia--weakened bones.
You can certainly continue to drink the warm lemon water without worrying about it
