Can Liver Enzymes And Bilirubin Raise Due To Chemotherapy?
My chemotherapy, that followed hysterectomy, finished in Nov 2009. My liver ensymes bacame slightly increased two months later and there are still not in the normal range. In a meantime bilirubin also rose slightly. Can that be a consequence of chemoterapy? Thank you!
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query. Yes it can be caused by chemo and this is probable cause, but if there are other asociated symptoms such as jaundice, pain or fever you should do liverultrasound and check viral markers to rule out other liver disorders.
