Can Long Term Usage Of Keppra Weaken Vocal Chords?

Hi,,

Weakness of vocal cord is not described as a side effect of kepra (levetiracetam). Some people used to have minor vocal cord weakness as age advances, and also after stroke, depending on the part of brain affected (which I am not aware here).

Anyhow, ENT specialist has assessed your cord to be fine. So if it is not interfering with your breathing/talking, you need not worry.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
