Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I recently was diagnosed with a complex migraine. I have a long history of regular migraines. Currently taking topomax, metoprol, zoloft, clonopin. My bp has been running 88/42--97/52 not normal for me. Also, found out my potassium is very low and im anemic. found all this out during my recent hospital stay for the complex migraine to rule out stroke. Should I be taking this bp med with my bp being so low?

Can Low Blood Pressure Cause Migraine?
Hello, As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
