Can Lumbar Spondylosis, Bilateral Compression With Neural Narrowing Be Treated Non-surgically?

Hi I am 60 year old male and had severe pain in my left leg. After getting an MRI done the report says I have moderate degree of lumbur spondylosis with severe a severe bilateral neural foraminal compression at L4-L5 level and the milder degree of bilateral neural foraminal neural narrowing at the l3-l4 level. Doc are recommending an operation but is there any way of getting this cured?
