I had a pelvic ultrasound last week because I have a constant nagging feeling near the left side near my ovary and a heaviness in front of my lower pelvis, sometimes I will feel it in hip and lower back, it really comes and goes. It is better with rest. At first we thought it was a uti, which I have never had, but doctor gave me antibiotics, and when my period began two weeks ago I would get random stabbing pains just on the left side. I have never experienced this when I am in my menstral cycle and I ususally feel everything on the right side anyways. The pelvic ultrasound showed I was ovulating on the left this time, but nothing else. I felt about 4in on the left side of anterior vaginal wall a hard lump on inside which was even hard for me to find. Can not figure out what it is, maybe a pelvic bone, maybe my intestines, bladder, I don t know, but it is there. Could the ultrasound have missed it. It is not on the right side. What is my next step, besides my doctor thinking I am nuts. I have never written on one of these so a little desperate. Oh, I also had half my thyroid out in late september, so I know my normally healthy body is a little out of sorts.
