Can Marlissa Levongestrelbe Used Instead Of Portia 28?

Hello, I picked up my birth control today and, usually it s Portia 28 but, I received something called Marlissa Levongestrel and Ethinyl Estradiol. What happened... Did Marlissa buy out Portia 28, is it okay for me to randomly change brands, should I take this, return it, etc?? Thank you, Elaine

I have reviewed your query and here is my advise.

Both the brands contain same contents (Levanogestrel and Ethinyl estradiol) so you can use them interchangeably. How ever it is better to stick on to same brand as they vary slightly in metabolism and frequent switching might cause some problems.
