Can Medical Consultation Be Delayed By 3 Months During Micro Vascular Changes In The Brain?

I had an MRI recently and my doc says there are micro vascular changes in the brain, he referred me to a neurologist who can se me for 3 months. I have had episodes of getting hot, sick to my stomach not being able to stand and feeling very tired. He last episode I was completely paralyzed for about an hour I went to the ER and the CT scan showed nothing. Should I be concerned waiting 3 months

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Sometimes CT scan cannot detect minute changes. MRI is the sensitive tool for diagnosing changes in the brain.

From the finding you are probably experiencing TIA, transient ischemic attack.

The attacks are short duration. You need neurological evaluation and Neuro opinion as early as possible.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
