Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had ischemic colitis in November and recovered. Now for the last few weeks I am vomiting every day about an hour after I take my accuretic and bystolic. I have been taking accuretic for 10 years, so I doubt it is that, but increased bystolic to 5mg from 2.5 several months ago, could that be the cause?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, the given drugs may not be the reason for vomiting but it could be due to GI pathology and that requires investigation, it may be inflammatory condition of GI tract, it could be infection, vascular injury due to underlying disease, it is better to get done the investigations till then Ondansetrone orally or injection can be tried hope this information helps.
