Can Medication Given To Treat PCOD Result In Weight Loss And Hair Growth On Chin?

Hello Sir, I'm 26 year old. In 2011 I was diagnosed with PCOD. After medication and weight loss, my periods normalized and I did not skip a single cycle in the last two years. However, of late (since past couple of months) I have noticed that the blood flow has reduced and more clots are present. Also, I have hair growth under my chin. Please help.

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Kindly continue your weight reduction regimen. Excess hair in PCOS is due to high testosterone in blood. If you are not trying for pregnancy you can take contraceptive pills containing antiandrogenic medicine like cyproterone acetate to reduce hair growth.
If you want conception, kindly don't take any medicine for hair growth. In that case hair removal is the only option left.
Regarding blood flow problem, occasional cycles can have this problem & there is nothing to worry for that.
Wish you good health.
