Can Medicine Cause Terrible Taste In Mouth And Nasal Passages?
Something is causing terrible taste in mouth and nasal passages. I think it is one of my medications. Ivd had bypass surgery afib problems and family history of stroke. I take coreg, losartin, lasix, xarelto, plus inhalers for copd.what is most likely cause?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your query and considering your medical history the most probable cause of bad taste in mouth and nasal passages seems to be due to side effect of medicines..
Inhalers can be a cause for foul smell in nose.. Bad taste is one of the most common side effect of medication.. I would suggest you to consult your treating physician and get evaluated and in case if medications are ruled out as the culprit he can alter the doses of the medicines.. As of now you can chew sugarfree chewing gum and gargle with a flavoured mouthwash..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
