Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Some honey in a plastic container solidified. I melted it in the microwave so I could pour some into my coffee. The smell of melted plastic was all over the kitchen but I drank a cup of coffee with about a teaspoon of that honey anyway. Did I just poison myself?
That small amount of toxins from the plastic wouldn't do you any harm--it would take a consistent intake of food heated in those containers in a microwave--say months--to do any injury to one's health
