I have been under a lot of stress lately, between getting temporary physical custody of our 21/2 g. son and owning a repair business, and our daughter is 21 on drugs (drug name is molly) she is living with the paternal family of our grand son , that is providing the drugs. my blood pressure was 144/96 on Friday 4/8. I am 49, female. In good health. My blood pressure always ranged 108/76. what do you suggest , does things like the blood pressure happen with this kind of stress?

Hi,

Having anxiety is well defined cause of high BP, and you have a valid reason to have it. Better is to relieve and get rid of it. Anxiolytic drug may help if you take for short term along with low dose of beta-blocker.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Deepesh Agarwal
