Can Minimally Invasive Face Lift Procedure Cause Vertigo?
Hello, I had one of those minimal invasive Lifestyle Lifts back in 2012. Since then I sometimes feel a popping sensation by my left ear and suffer from spells of dizziness when I turn my head a certain way. Could such a procedure damage the inner ear somehow and cause Vertigo?
First of all, it's sad to know what you had been going through lately.
Based on the history you have shared, it can be because of benign positional vertigo and may have started irrespective of the surgical procedure you had been through.
Consulting an ENT specialist for relevant exercises and using betahistine may be helpful. Symptoms may resolve in 6 months but treatment will help to control symptoms.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
