Can Mold Or Mildew Cause Productive Cough?
We moved into an apartment 2 years ago and my son who is 33 has had severe mucus problems. He has to cough it up sometimes he throws it up. Its only been since we move . He use to have allergies but this is awful He is spitting all the time. Could it be something like mold or mildew

Regarding the son's symptom of cough productive of thick mucus following an entrance into a new apartment 2yrs ago I am suggesting that he has developed following differential diagnosis
upper respiratory tract infection due allergic dust particles
Aspergillosis
Sinusitis
Chronic bronchitis
Asbestosis
In view of this please do a chest x-ray and see a pulmonologist specialist with the result and for further expect clinical assessment and adequate drug prescription
