I have a slight growth or mass on my nose. It spreads across the nose and not detectable to most people. Could this be from an mrsa infection. Could this be caused by an inner nose infection from picking my nose. I m perplexed. I also just started to have vertigo and a slight sense of loss of balance when walking, including voluminous hearing when I speak or any noise in the house.
Swelling nose has no relation to decreased infection. If you have short of hearing, then you need to do pure tone Audiometry examination under microscopy. Avoid taking coffee, tea, and excessive fluid.
If you are worried about MRSA, then you need to take a swab from your nose and sent for culture and drug sensitivity. But start an antibiotic tablet Amoxycillin 1 tab twice daily for 7 days and do the above tests. Then you must consult an ENT surgeon.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
