Can Nausea Be Treated With Cannabis After Attack Of Acute Pancreatitis?

I recently had an ERCP done which resulted in an attack of acute pancreatitis. There was no necrosis, and my numbers have been stable for 6 days now (out of hospital for 2 days). I am slightly sore, but otherwise fine. I do, however, still have nausea (reason for ERCP) which I like to treat with cannabis. My question is whether or not this is safe after the attack. I have read differing ideas online. I don't want to go into any more of my history, and would just like a straight answer.

Dear User,

Thanks for using health care magic.

My straight answer to your question is NO. You are not supposed to use cannabis for a indication which is not appropriate. I agree that it may reverse nausea in therapeutic dose but being a substance of abuse and availability of multiple safer options for nausea, it is not advisable to use for nausea.

'Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help".
Thanks
