Can Neck Pain And Shoulder Pain Be The Result Of Infection?
Hi white blood count is high, doctor had put me on antibiotics for an infection. Now my neck and shoulder is really aching, I feel nauseous! Could this be swollen glands from infection. This is day two of antibiotics ! Neck only started hurting yesterday
Lymphnode swelling is common in infection. I would advice my patient to continue the antibiotic as advised by the doctor. Rest and analgesic for pain. If the Lymphnode is not subsiding with antibiotics than other infectious conditions like TB should be rule out with relevant investigations.
