Hi Dear,
Whether
nicotine can enter your system while being intimate with your partner depends on the way your partner uses snuff.
If the snuff is used by inhalation route, it enters only in user's system and cannot pass to you through saliva. Inhaled snuff does not reach saliva of the user's mouth.
However, if the snuff is used by mouth and if your partner is using snuff while being intimate with you, it sure can transmit in your mouth through saliva and can get nicotine in your system.
Cigarette smoke contains over 4000 chemicals including nicotine, tar, carbon monoxide,
cyanide, arsenic, DDT etc. Being allergic to cigarette smoke does not mean that you are surely allergic to nicotine. You can be allergic to nicotine or any other constituent present in cigarette smoke.
If you want to know for sure what component you are allergic to, you can get your blood tested in the laboratory for allergic test.
In any case, being away from nicotine is always a good idea and never hurts to be careful about it. I appreciate your concern regarding this matter.
I hope this information helps. Thank you for choosing HealthCareMagic. Take care.
Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
