Can Nodules In Thyroid Cause Faster Pulse, Weight Loss, Headache And Grey Hair?

I have nodules in my thyroid. I have had several tests, biopsy, ultrasound and blood tests.
I am 73 years old and I have the following symptoms: fast pulse, lost weight, headaches, lost hair, lost muscle and pain
high blood pressure ,pounding pulse in my ears. Is it possible that the nodules are causing all these symptoms?

Brief Answer: Yes, your symtoms may be related to the thyroid nodes.
You should see an endocrinologist.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for using HCM.
Thyroid nodes are of different etiology and nature, and may be hyper/hypofunctional. The following complaints suggest a hyperfunctional (hyperthyroidism) due to multinodular goiter. So, if you have more than three month that you have measured your thyroid hormone levels in blood , you should remeasure them. Depending on the results you should take specific medication prescribed by the endocrinologist. If you are under treatment and still it doesn't help, may be your treating doctor will have to increase the dosage of your medication or switch to another treatment. A surgical solution may be considered too, followed by a replacement hormone therapy.

Hope this is helpful.
