ringing in ear is known as tinnitus.
it has many variety of the reason .
head injury is one of them
so it is possible to have ringing in ear due to injury of occipital lobe.
other cause include
-infection
-subjective
-psychological
-drug induce
-thyroid related
-neuron damage etc

Thanks for the query. Occipital lobe damage does not cause tinnitus. It is due to damage in the inner ear or its connections. Get evaluated by ENT specialist to see if there is additional damage in the ear along with occipital lobe. Bye
