Can Oral Sex Cause Yeast Infection?

My wife has yeast infection once in a while but not real often. She has the worst case now and its driving her nuts. It kept her awake much of the night. She bought some vaginal cream at the store but it doesn t seem to be doing much to improve her condition. I gave her oral sex a few days ago is it possible that I past bacteria from my mouth to her?

Thanks for writing to Health Care magic, I am Dr , Muhammad Ahmad , I have read your question closely, I understand your concern and will be helping you with your health related problem.

Yeast usually doesn't effect healthy normal person and area it usually needs specific conditions to flourish like prolonged moisture , being immuno compromised , bad hygiene. In a healthy person with good immunity and hygiene, this problem does not take place. I would suggest you not to panic there are pretty remote chances that you will have any considerable problem.

This being said i would suggest you to visit your wife's doctor as soon as possible because this might not settle with OTC vaginal creams.
