Can Otex Ear Drops Used For Ear Pain Result In Bleeding From Ears?

Pain in ear after using otex ear drops to reduce wax build up. Used a a rolled up piece of tissue to absorb the drops from my ear (May have put in too many drops) and noticed a small amount of blood. Getting a slight pulsating feeling in my ear with a dull pain and occasional sharp pains. Please advise if I need to go see local GP or just leave it and wait and see if it improves?

Bleeding from ear after any manipulation is a sign of danger and should be brought to immediate medical attention.
It is quite possible that the organised wax in the ear canal has caused local excoriation and formation of wound and when you have put the drops the wax has got dislodged and the bleeding is appearing.
It is a risky situation because the ear canal is full of bacteria and fungus spora which can lead to life threatening infections in some circumstances.
It is highly advisable that you consult a nearest health facility as soon as possible.
