Can Pacemaker Defibrillator Cause Extreme Dizzy Spells?
MY 70 YR OLD HUSBAND HAD A 3LEAD PACEMAKER DEFIBRILLATOR PUT IN ON NOV 3. HE STARTED EXPERIENCING EXTREME DIZZY SPELLS 3 DAYS LATER. THEY HAVENT STOPPED AND HAVE GOTTEN WORSE. HE HAD CT SCAN OF HEAD AND CAROTIDS 2 WEEKS AGO. NOTHING SHOWED UP THAT WOULD CAUSE DIZZINESS. HE DID NOT HAVE DIZZY SPELLS BEFORE THE PACEMAKER. DO U HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS AS TO WHAT COULD BE CAUSING HIS DIZZINESS?

yes sometimes it can happen,but once get 24 hour holter monitoring to look for pacemaker position.Monitor blood pressure regularly.thankyou
