Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Is the packet milk good for my 8 months old daughter? We have so many brands available like chitale, amul etc. Wanted to start a cow milk for my baby. She is currently taking Nan pro 2.Can I go for the packet milk ? Please suggest which milk is good for my baby?
For the baby, if cow's milk is to be given, then please see that A2 Milk is given. This is the milk from Indian cows (a cow with a hump), not the foreign cows like jersey ones. That milk is known as A1 and is harmful for the babies. There is Amul Desi Milk available. You can talk to Chitale Milk shop owners and fined out if they sell A2 milk.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Prabhakar Laxman Jathar, Diabetologist
