Can Pain In Belly Button Due To Green Discharge Be Stopped?
I have a pain in my belly button when I bend over in the centre of my belly button, and earlier today there was a little amount of green liquid surrounding the belly button, and it is really smelly. I was wondering if there was any way of stopping the pain when I sit up.
It seems that you may be having omphalitis and that would be superadded by pseudomonas infection. You have painful lesion with greenish discharge in or near umbilicus. Broad spectrum antibiotics with anti inflammatory drugs may be taken after consulting dermatologist. Antibiotics like mupirocin oint may be applied to enhance the result. Do not worry, consult dermatologist and have firm diagnosis after investigations to rule out DM,HIV and other immunocompromised conditions. You may be alright. I hope you got my answer.
Thanks.
