Can Pain In The Head After An Injury A Matter Of Concern?

Yesterday I got up from bed (a bunkbed) and hit the top of my head as I stood up and it hurt but after that I had no headache or any symptoms of a serious head injury. Today I feel completely fine but the top of my head where I hit it hurts when I touch it. Because I m an over thinker I can t stop worrying if this could be serious.

Hello,

What you describe is likely not more than a bad bump to the head.
This is not a concussion or traumatic brain injury.
If things change to include nausea, vomiting, blurred vision, or anything of a more significant nature then, I would recommend you be seen at an urgent care or ER.

Hope I have answered your query.
