Can Pain In The Upper Arm Muscles Be Due To Athersclerosis?

I just received my CPK and ESR tests which are both normal. I was tested for arthritis. My arms upper muscles hurt terrible sometimes, are these test also for athersclerosis? I am 70 yrs. old and have heart disease and take a mimimum of a statin drug, 40 mg 1/3 each night..
