I had an excision left palmar dupuytrens disease + release flexor sheath left ring finger 4 days ago. 2 days later I experienced very cold feelings inside the body whilst burning on the skin, and then noticed a blotchy rash appearing first on legs and now progressing through the whole body with a burning prickly feeling. Should I be concerned? Pauline
It could be an allergic reaction to the medicines you have been given. I would recommend you to take antihistaminic like tablet Chlorpheniramine maleate and apply topical steroid like cortisone cream on the affected area. If it doesn’t improve in 5 days consult a doctor and get it evaluated.
