Can Panic Attacks Cause Chest Pains And Shortness Of Breath?
I am 24 years old and have chest pains often and shortness of breathe and notice new symptoms here and there but everytime I go to my doc he says its panic attacks. I had xrays and tests done, everything which came back fine but I feel its a problem that they aren t catching. Can panic attacks do this?
I went through your details. I suggest you not to worry much. Panic attacks are due to underlying anxiety. Anxiety surely produce weird symptoms which are not based on physiology. Rather, such symptoms are normally obsessive.
In your case, anxiety produces gastric symptoms. Due to the gastric symptoms, the diaphragm is pushed upwards and constricts the chest cavity. Due to the constriction you feel tightness, pain and uneasiness. As your tests came normal, don't worry and exercise.
I can help you in this aspect. Psychotherapy techniques should suit your requirement. If you require more of my help in this aspect, Please post a direct question to me in this URL. http://goo.gl/aYW2pR. Make sure that you include every minute details possible. I shall prescribe the needed psychotherapy techniques.
Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications. Good luck.
