Can Pap Test Done After Having Sex Show Accurate Results?

I am 31 years old.my weight is 68 kg.i am married.Is there any possibility to get inaccurate report if pap test done the day after intercourse?i heard that pap test should be done after 24 to 48 hour after sex.my report came back normal.but i have bleeding only when i have intercourse.

Thanks for your question on HCM. In my opinion pap smear report is depending on cycle of menstruation and ovulation. And not on sexual intercourse. Due to changes in endometrial tissue with change in menstrual cycle, one can have pap finding accordingly. So no need to worry as your report is normal and pap report has no significance with intercourse.
