Can Pharyngeal Cyst On Tonsil Cause Difficulty In Swallowing?
Hi I am 36 year old woman 5 2 and I have not been able to eat anything solid for 11 months and I have lost 55 lbs since then. My GI dr. did a ct scan and determined I had a pharyngeal cyst on my left tonsil (adenoid) size is 6 mm. Could this be causing my swallowing issues?
Yes, this pharyngeal cyst on your left tonsil is causing this difficulty in swallowing. I think you should get them removed. Discuss it further with your ENT surgeon.
All the best. Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
