Otolaryngologist / ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

Adenoid can pose recurrent colds in childhood. But surgery at this early age is not recommended unless adenoids is the cause of severe obstructive sleep apnea. Meanwhile, you can use steroid nasal sprays for a month or two to look for any improvement. Steroid nasal sprays many times offer a great relief from adenoids especially in kids.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
