Can Pineal Gland Cyst Cause Temporary Blindness?

I have a pineal gland cyst that grew from 1.2 mm in may to now 7 mm. I lost complete vision in both eyes for a few minutes. Is this something i need to be worried about? Could the growth have caused my sudden blindness? Will i have these episodes frequently?
