Can Postpartum Hypertension Medicine Labetalol Conflict With HCG Shots?
I gave birth 6 weeks ago and developed high blood pressure after. My doctor has me on 400mg of Labetalol a day. My numbers are nearly back under control. I was planning on doing the hcg diet next month sometime. I was wondering if there is a conflict with hcg shots and Labetalol? Thanks

Hi, Thanks for asking. Based on your query, my opinion is as follows. 1. No, labetalol does not interfere with HCG diet. 2. However, it is too early as your body is still recovering. 3. Slow down until hypertension is under complete control. Baby care could also become a problem so early due to HCG diet. Hope it helps. Any further queries, happy to help again.
