Can Prolapsed Hemorrhoids Cause Skin Irritation Below Vaginal?
I have an irritation on just one small area on the bottom right side below the vaginal opening. No burning or itchiness. No swelling or bumps. I do have prolapsed hemorrhoids. Could that cause irritation there also? Or could it must be irritated sensitive skin?
Hello and welcome to HCM, Prolapsed hemorrhoids can be the cause of irritation of the skin near the vaginal opening. A clinical assessment of perineum (vaginal opening and surrounding area) is required. A topical preparation can be used to reduce the irritation and associated inflammation. In case the irritation is due to external hemorrhoids, the hemorrhoids should be surgically removed. In suggest you to consult a surgeon for clinical assessment and thus management.
