Can Prolonged Intake Of Prednisone For Back Pain Cause Side Effects?
I have 4 bulged discs in my back. L2,L3,L4 and L5. L3 is the worst but L3, L4, and L5 are all causing nerve problems. L4and L5 both have a tear. I have had a blood clot 2 months ago which hit my lungs and I an on blood thinners for this. my doctor will not let me off the thinners till march and my other doctor says that is too long to be on predisone at 40 MG per day. this is the only med that seems to help with the terrible back pain and cyatic nerve pain all day long. Is that too long to take predisone.
