Welcome to HCM
This is Dr Amit. Yes protein diets can very well slow down the process of hairfall but it won't stop it completely as you need to identify the underlying problem for the hairfall that can be stress, infection, nutritional deficiency or any hormonal imbalance. So in addition to diet modification seek medical advice from your doctor before it gets too late as once the hair are lost you won't get it back. You can also start minoxidil gel for the hairfall after seeking advise from the dermatologist
Feel free to ask if you have any other doubts
Regards
