Hello,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

Chronic smoking lead to deposition of smoke in lung. It also lead to damage to lungs and cause chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) which produces wheezing.

In advance cases COPD problem progresses further inspite of quitting smoking. Same time you should get evaluated by Pulmonologist/Physician for treatment.

Wishing you good health and all the best.
